Removing old rear axle springs can be a tough job and getting your new leaf springs bolted on tight is critical. The experienced professionals at D & B Bear Service are up for the task. Drop by the shop at 305 NW 2nd St or give us a call at 541-752-3316 to set up an appointment to get your new leaf springs installed fast.

Coil Springs: Coil springs look exactly like a simple coil. Placed on the top of an axle your coil springs store and release the energy when your car or truck is in motion. The coil spring absorbs the shock of Corvallis potholes, speed bumps and other turbulent factors on track or rough terrain. Ensuring old springs are removed and new coils are aligned and fastened correctly is essential for maximum safety and handling. Trust the experienced auto repair specialists at D & B Bear Service at 305 NW 2nd St for fast, affordable coil spring installation.

Frame Rails: Ready to race? Offset chassis are not permitted on many tracks and require drivers to install parallel frame rails. Chassis frame rails are built to strict guidelines to provide maximum stabilization in a left-hand turn. Let our expert mechanics at D & B Bear Service be your race team and make minute changes to the geometry of your suspension with frame rails to provide you with a total lower weight in the turns.

Tie Rods

At D & B Bear Service we know driving enthusiasts in Corvallis demand more of their high-performance cars and trucks. When you turn a corner on Corvallis streets your front wheels pivot on steering knuckles connected to the steering rack. Your wheels are connected by the tie rod to the drag link bar to provide safety and handling in a turn. High-performance tie bars boast micro-adjustment options to make height and length adjustments between the tie rod and the wheel. The tie rod end that connects to the steering knuckle is susceptible to wear and failure with aggressive driving. Failure can throw off the car's alignment in a tight curve when the chassis of a car is under the most stress. High performance tie bar ends offer precision manufactured ball bearings to reduce wear and critical failures.

Wheelie Bars

These simple anti-roll devices look like casters connected to the rear bumper by long bars of flexible Chromoly tubing. Let D & B Bear Service be a part of your race team and install wheelie bars when you are ready to race. Wheelie bars take over in a skid and progressively unload the energy of the tire to keep a car right side up. Ready to add this important safety option to your car? Call D & B Bear Service at 541-752-3316 and let's talk wheelie bars.

We discovered these guys from a person who sold us a used car. It was a '94 Honda they had been responsible for since it was new. I have been driving for 55 years and have used many repair shops in many cities. We have used these guys on many occasions in the last several years for all of our cars' repairs. I used to work on cars myself when I was young so I know when I am getting BS. These guys are very very good - the best I have ever had. Do yourself a favor and give them a shot.

Great, friendly service. They kept me informed about the progress and estimates for the repairs they did throughout the day. I will always take my car back here as long as I live in Corvallis.

They have done me right a couple times now by coming in with quotes under others, and never going over their own quote, and my truck has been great!

Very knowledgeable and friendly. We were recommended to them by our neighbors and rightly so! They did a great job fixing our car and did it so fast it surprised us and all of my coworkers. Thanks for getting us back on the road so quickly.

Super friendly people, extremely helpful. Took a look at my brakes and explained the problem piece by piece to me, so I could make an informed decision. Wonderful folks, I'd recommend them to anyone, and I will definitely be returning for any future car issues.

Les Schwab wanted me to do some major repairs. I took my car to D & B, and they said my car didn't need it. The dealer is more expensive, and they want to do additional maintenance than D & B recommends. These guys are honest, and they are not just in it for your money.

We had some problems with our radiator on our way home for Thanksgiving and ended up at D & B. They told us we needed a new radiator, but it was late in the day, and no one in town had one. We didn't end up having the work done here because of travel logistics, but they were very helpful and kind enough to let us hang out in their office with a dog and baby while we figured out our tow truck. Very nice folks.
